Membership Information
How do I become a member?

Each fall we hold a membership drive.  If you and your daughter are interested in joining our Chapter you must find two members of NCL, Glendale Chapter to be your sponsors.  Your Primary Sponsor will submit your names to the VP of Membership. After that you will be sent an invitation to attend a workshop with your sponsor where we will provide you with complete information about our organization and the application process.

What are Patronesses, Ticktockers and Provisionals?

All mothers in NCL are called Patronesses and their daughters are called Ticktockers. During the first year as members both mothers and daughters are referred to as Provisional Members.

What are the requirements once my daughter and I become members?

Requirements focus on service, attendance and finances.

Every Patroness must:
Perform 10 hours of philanthropy service at our various charities each year.
Attend 5 of 8 monthly Chapter meetings.
Attend 1 of 3 Patroness meetings for your specific grade.

Each Ticktocker must:
Perform a minimum of 20 to 30 hours of philanthropy service each year.
Attend 7 of 8 Ticktocker meetings for her grade.
Visit a resident of 12 Oaks Retirement Lodge once per calendar quarter.

A Patronesses and her daughter will pay annual dues/fees totaling approximately $800 per year.

Members are to support Chapter fundraising and service projects as much as possible. We hold three major fundraising events per year – a giant rummage sale, a Holiday Boutique and a Presentation GALA Ad Book. Smaller optional events like Ralph's Rewards, dining out nights at local restaurants or shopping discounts at stores may also be offered.
